(1)  “Overall, our meta-analyses found no evidence to support the claim that artificial surveillance cues increase generosity ….”

(2)  If you want more people to vote, then make it easier to vote.

(3) The kinds of people who like thinking about having sex with lots of people tend to be the kinds of people who have trouble staying committed to one person.

(4)  Pew’s new report on the 2016 election—bigger sample than most, lots of analysis, good stuff.

(5)  There are signs that as Trump does well with the white working class, he’s underperforming with college-educated whites (e.g., the Pew report above, and also here and here). In a matter or pure coincidence, college-educated whites are a lot less likely than less-educated whites to be anti-immigrant and anti-Islam and to think racial discrimination isn’t a big problem.
